Here We Go Again...

Medical Forms
Letters of Employment
Financial Paperwork
FBI Clearance
Criminal Records Clearance
These are just a few of the documents I have started to gather for our THIRD round of paper work. Don't they say, "Third time is a charm"??? Our current 797C expires on April 26. I have to have all of the paper work finished and a home visit from our new social worker within the next few weeks so that I can mail everything off before our current paper work expires.

I don't know why, but I just can't get into this this time. Round one and two I flew through the paper work trying to get it all finished and back to our social worker as soon as possible. This time, not such a big deal. I know I have a time line, but I'm not getting all flustered about it this time. Am I getting wiser or just burned out?

  1. Oh bless your heart! Big hugz being sent your way.
It will be totally worth it in the end. For certain it will be the last.

  2. You, too?!!!?!! Ours expires in early May. so I've been calling to make medical and vet appointments this week. Sigh. And hugs to you - big time.

  3. I'll be doing the same thing in a few months. It's ridiculous!! Good luck with everything.

p.s. Thanks for the good thoughts for my sister. She's not out of the woods yet but we are taking it one day at a time :o)

  4. I'm so over all the paperwork. But I get to do mine again this summer.

  5. I say you are getting wiser ;-)

I forgot to mention that I LOVED those potato chip cookies. They didn't even make it home. Luckily the other cookies were a big hit with the girls. Jazzie was very curious as to how you got those stars in the middle of the cookies ;-)

  6. Third time is a charm...
I can't believe you have to do all that stuff... we only have to do fingerprints and homestudy update...
or at least the second time around .. maybe the third time we have to redo everything...
you will get it done in no time.. and then before you know it she will be in your arms..

  7. for the love of potato chip cookies don't dilly-dally! You don't want to let that stuff expire!!

Anyway....this is the last time that you have to do this for this little polar bear *smooches*

  8. I am with you....I started ours a couple weeks ago and have moving at a snails pace...I am just not into it this time.

Our agency has given us a new option as to buy a little more time...they said we needed to get the I600 form in and paid for by June, when the current one expires, but we have one year to complete the homestudy, so I am holding out a little while longer.....I really don't want to go through all of this yet again!

  9. Third and final time. Sure is tough to get enthused....again. Hope it goes smoothly.

  10. This is the LAST time....If not we can get rooms next door to eachother at the nut house....I'll even let you use the shower first in the morning! =)

  11. I'd say burnt out! But hey, it's the last time you have to do them :)

I got your email, and you're right (slapping myself in the head). thank you for reminding me that I'm ridiculous :) Love you!

  12. Yuck! More paperwork! I think you are much wiser. You've done it so many times you are a total pro now. ;)

  13. Augh! I'm not looking forward to doing ours for the 3rd time either. Hopefully all will be smooth for you guys!

  14. blah.
    just think -

  15. I'm right behind you this time, I delayed on the last set so this one isn't expiring till the summer time but I have to renew our fingerprints in March. Procrastinating is definitely a symptom of burnout but think what a relief it will be to get it done and have it be the LAST TIME!!!!

  16. Yep, no more after this time. The only thing you can hang onto at this point in the game.

  17. Maybe a little of both (wiser and burned out). Sorry you had to go through this a third time, but glad to know it's the LAST time.

I can't believe in the waiting child program I may (MAY) have to do the same... sad.
